Pastor E.A. Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, one of the fastest-growing Christian movements in the world. A man known for his humility, holiness, and deep devotion to God, Pastor Adeboye has been a shining example of servant leadership and faith for more than four decades. Born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, Nigeria, he holds degrees in Mathematics, including a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lagos. Before his call to full-time ministry, he was a university lecturer—until God led him to devote his life to preaching the Gospel.

Since becoming General Overseer in 1981, RCCG has grown from a few parishes in Nigeria to a worldwide network in over 190 nations. Through his leadership, God has birthed global ministries, schools, and humanitarian works, all driven by the vision that in every family on earth, someone should be a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. A teacher of the Word, author, and man of prayer, Pastor Adeboye continues to inspire millions through his messages of faith, righteousness, and revival.

He is joyfully married to Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, and together they serve as spiritual parents to a vast family of believers around the world.
